About This Position 💡

The Riverbed NetProfiler and Flow Gateway product family analyze millions of network flows every minute, saving the data in a highly optimized proprietary database and performing real-time analysis. Real-time analytics detect network operations and security anomalies to alert network administrators before customers are calling for help. With highly configurable dashboards and flexible traffic reporting capabilities, NetProfiler is a go-to network visibility tool for network managers at Fortune 500 companies around the world. We are seeking an enthusiastic, high energy Web Developer to join the team and contribute to the development of the NetProfiler and Flow Gateway products.

Responsibilities 📌

• Work with web developers and other teams to create robust web applications
• Write well designed, efficient, testable code by using good software development practices
• Design and develop complex client- and server-side UI code using JavaScript, HTML and CSS
• Determine ways to improve the product through good UX

Qualifications ✅

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
• 3+ years of experience in developing large JavaScript applications
• Demonstrated proficiency in HTML5 and CSS3, including layout
• Ability to work in Unix
• Some experience with scripting languages such as PHP, Python, or Perl
• Ability to prioritize and manager multiple projects efficiently
• Flexible and able to adapt to changing requirements

Desired ⭐️

• Experience with server-side JS development using Node.js
• Fluency in PHP
• Experience using one or more modern JavaScript frameworks (Angular, React, Ext JS)
• Ability to do mockups or prototypes of evolving interfaces
• Experience with technologies including: REST, Sass, jQuery and Handlebars
• UX design experience
• Knowledge of basic networking concepts (routing, switching, etc.) and communications protocols (IP, TCP, UDP, etc.)
