About this Position 👀
This position can be remote or based in Nagarro's Timisoara, Cluj-Napoca, Brasov, Bucharest, Sibiu or Craiova site.
What are your responsibilities ✅
- Designing Quality Metrics as per project need and customer expectation
- Understanding functional requirements thoroughly and analyzing the client’s needs in the context of the project
- Addressing issues promptly, responding positively to setbacks and challenges with a mindset of continuous improvement
- Giving constructive feedback to the team members and setting clear expectations.
- Helping the team in troubleshooting and resolving of complex bugs
- Coming up with solutions to any issue that is raised during code/design review and being able to justify the decision taken
- Carrying out POCs to make sure that suggested design/technologies meet the requirements.
What makes you a good fit for this role 🎯
- Experience in software QA Testing
- Experience in OTT/TV OS (Android TV, Apple TV) Testing experience, working with streaming media content on OTT/Smart TVs platforms
- Mobile testing experience – functional as well as non-functional mobile testing skills
- Good knowledge of streaming protocols (DASH, HLS) and testing Live, VOD, DVR Streaming
- Good debugging skills and should be able to root cause issues. Hands-on with network proxy tools such as Charles, Fiddler, Web Developer tools. Should have knowledge of reading/modifying network requests.
- Basic understanding of some OTT components – Content Management System (CMS), User Management System (UMS)
- Experience in OTT Apps automation. Writing test scripts in Selenium
- Good knowledge of CI/CD tools for Continuous Integration and Deployment process
- Knowledge of Appium and an API automation tool
